Additionally, we will highlight community leaders who make tangible and lasting changes in their communities by actively engaging and leading by example. These individuals not only inspire change but possess the capacity and ingenuity to think outside the box and GET THE JOB DONE! Headlight Guppy Crusade (band)-As a songwriter throughout much of my life, I've had a strong desire to inspire today's generation with the music of my youth, perhaps with a slight update to fit the times we live in. The 1970s was a politically charged era, characterized by social movements and cultural shifts. Many songwriters of that time reflected these realities in their music, using songs as a means of expression and connection with the spirit of the era. The craftsmanship of songwriting during the 1970s is unparalleled by any other era.

Today’s youth seem to have lost the rebelliousness of generations before them and have surprisingly become part of the unquestioning status quo. It’s hard to imagine a song like “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival being produced these days. Maybe what this generation needs is a little dose of the zeitgeist of the 1970s to awaken in them the spirit of rebelliousness that keeps the powers that be on their toes.
